About Us

Proper broadcast experience. Wherever your story takes us.

East Yorkshire Podcast Studio is part of Baxter Media, bringing over 20 years of professional radio production and broadcasting experience to podcast recording across Yorkshire and Lincolnshire.

There aren’t many places we haven’t recorded or broadcast live from.

Over the years, we’ve recorded and broadcast live from trains, offices, fields, car parks, moving boats, nuclear bunkers and even the very top of the Humber Bridge.

So whether you’re recording a podcast in your office, interviewing colleagues on a factory floor or capturing a conversation somewhere a little more unusual, we’re quite comfortable bringing the studio to you.

More than just microphones

Good podcasting isn’t just about getting the sound right. It’s about telling a story that people actually want to listen to.

Our background covers both the technical and production sides of broadcasting. That means we don’t simply turn up, plug in some microphones and press record.

We can help you find the interesting angle, ask the right questions, structure a conversation and bring out the stories that might otherwise go untold.

Whether you’ve got a fully formed podcast idea or simply something worth talking about, we can help turn it into engaging audio or video content.

Professional equipment. No fuss.

We use professional broadcast and production equipment to deliver high-quality recordings wherever you need us.

Our audio setup includes the RØDECaster Pro II, Shure SM58 microphones, wireless radio microphones and portable recording equipment.

For video podcasts, we use Sony and OBSBOT cameras, a Blackmagic ATEM Mini Pro ISO for multi-camera production and DJI SDR wireless video technology.

We can even handle remote contributions and bring our own connectivity with us.

But you don’t need to know what any of that does. That’s our job.

We’ll look after the equipment, the setup, the recording and the technical details, leaving you free to concentrate on the conversation.

Your place. Your story. Our studio.

We’re based in East Yorkshire and work across Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, bringing professional podcast and video recording directly to businesses, organisations and individuals.

No need to travel to a studio. No complicated setup. Just experienced, friendly production that comes to you.
